Welcome to Chapter 7 of “A Look Through The Dark Titan Universe Saga”. A series of separate articles based on the Dark Titan Universe Saga.

Giving new readers who don’t mind SPOILERS and those whom have already read something pertaining to the series a look at what’s happened from the start and what’s to come with The Heroes’ Path Trilogy, which begins on March 26th with The Oranos Imperative. This series will be going by chronology including the main titles, spin-offs, and One-Shot stories. Continuing the series with Tales of the Numinous: Book 3 of the Dark Titan Universe Saga.

Tales of the Numinous is solely focused on the dark fantasy, horror, and paranormal characters within the Dark Titan Universe. Their stories are mostly standalone from the heroes, yet, the actions are set into the future where they may come into contact with the heroes. Following characters such as Creed, Death Chaser, Travis Vail, Gabriel Abraham, Fable, Cinderella, and Darkous of the Astrals.

Tales of the Numinous features eight stories:

Creed: The Cryptic Circle: The first of the Creed saga. Begins with Creed confronting the supernatural group called The Cult before being visited by Ananchel deep in an unknown wilderness. Ananchel warns Creed of the Cryptic Lord, Adrambadon. Creed begins his quest by searching out those who are aligned with the Cryptic One. Creed searched throughout the world, staring in London before learning of a demon named Abacus roaming around Scotland. Creed heads to Scotland and confronts Abacus at the Callanish Stones. Creed attacked Abacus, slicing off his arm and head, activating another portal from the Cryptic Zone to Earth. Ananchel warns Creed of Adrambadon’s power growing, showing his presence is near. Creed and Ananchel are met by Uriel the Archangel. Uriel opens another portal into the cryptic Zone for Creed to directly confront Adrambadon. Creed enters the realm, feeling its power pulling onto his own. In the realm, Adrambadon stood, alongside Abacus and an animal-like demon only referred to as Satanic. Ananchel and Uriel arrived,taking on the two demons while Creed battled Adrambadon. The portal began to close, giving them an exit and trapping Adrambadon in his realm for another time. Afterwards, Creed is visited by elderly woman called Madam Age, who warns Creed of another powerful force coming to Earth and this one is nearing closer than expected. Creed takes her words and prepares himself for the coming battle.

Death Chaser: Souls of Retribution: The first of the Death Chaser saga. Beginning with the Chaser of Souls inside the Dream Dimension, defeating a powerful demon only called Nightmare. Afterwards, Chaser reverted to his human form in Danny Logan. As he went on a walk, the burning of the Chaser crawled out, transforming him into the Death Chaser as he’s confronted by a mysterious woman and a man with a beaked hood. The Chaser whips out sinfire, prepared to fight, only to learn the two are looking for Demonticronto, a dreadful and powerful demon. A principality in the spiritual realm. Chaser ceases, knowing they’re on the same side. The woman refers to herself simply as Widow while the man calls himself the Robin Knight. The two seek revenge for the deaths of those in the families due to demonic activity. Widow and Knight meet the Chaser at another location, while the Chaser gives them a history lesson on creation and sin. While talking, they are interrupted by the Sin Phantom, who’s is doing the bidding for Demonticronto. the Phantom flees just as Demonticronto’s army of the Tormented Souls arrive to eliminate the three. Together, the Chaser, Knight, and Widow defeat the Souls just before the Chaser catches the Phantom, telling him to send Demonticronto a message of his coming defeat. Afterwards, Knight and Widow continue to learn from the Chaser, while he is on his own mission, bringing him to Washington D.C. where he feels a slight disturbance in the world.

Travis Vail, Spirit-Seeker: First Sins: The first of the Spirit-Seeker saga. Vail receives a call from Dr. Galen Donovan concerning a case involving the “First Sins”. Vail takes up the case, heading out the U.K., France, and Germany. While in Germany, Vail catches the appearance of a plague doctor. Vail mocked the doctor before it vanished away. Vail believes the plague doctors and the First Sins are connected. Later, Vail and Galen are confronted by Kamagrauto, taking them both by surprise. Kamagrauto states he will aid Vail in this case, due to its vastness. During the night, Vail and Belinda Grazio share a conversation of their romantic past, Vail states he cannot marry while operating in the field of the supernatural, knowing a tragedy would be nearing its way. The next day, Vail, Galen, and Belinda add up the sightings of the plague doctors with many witnesses, all traced to a man named Timothy Ellis. Vail knows him as Balthazar. Vail prepared for the fight with a sin entity, yet, Kamagrauto arose, decapitating the spirit with his mouth. Kamagrauto tells Vail that Balthazar is responsible for the First Sins. Upon arriving in NYC, Colton Levi greets them and joins in on the case. They move to a section of shops and see nothing but plague doctors. The doctors moved out of their path as they walked down a hallway, leading them to a room where a pentagram is carved into the ground. Vail sees a hooded figure kneeling down beside a fire, it was Balthazar. He stood and faced them. He stood boldly before Vail mentioned the aid of Kamagrauto. The name brought fear upon Balthazar and he ceased his doing, stopping the sins and the doctors from rising. After, Vail went into research concerning the sin entity he encountered. For more details, Vail went out to meet with Gabriel Abraham the Devilhunter.

The Devilhunter: Unseen Worship: The first of the Devilhunter saga. Beginning with Gabriel Abraham interrupting a group of devil worshipers who have made a sacrifice to their master. Abraham returns to the Revelation Center, learning their master is the demon Hastur. Visitors arrive in the form of Evan Wyatt and Andrea Coralline. They are new to the supernatural after having dealt with a pair of Satanists. Gabriel brings them in and heads off on a mission to find Sierra the Succubus, who’s been roaming parts of D.C. They find her and she seduces Evan, yet, Gabriel frees him of her gaze by shooting her. A strange horde arrives due to Sierra’s screeching yell. They attack Gabriel as Evan and Andrea return to the Center. They return to find the place surrounded by worshipers of Hastur. Before Abraham could return to his Center, Hastur himself arose within the building, startling the two young novices. Abraham arrived just as Hastur made himself known. All his worshipers bowed before him. Abraham attacked Hastur with a silver sword, quickly wounding the demon. The worshipers arose to aid him, yet he ceased their actions and fled the Center with them. After all was settled, Travis Vail arrived at the Center.

The Man Called Fable: The Mage and The Con: The first of the Fable saga. Beginning with Pandora, a powerful magician summoning Fable into the Rift between the natural and magical realms. She rebukes him of exposing the magical realm to the outsiders in the natural, to which Fable shrugs off. Fable later returns to the same bar where he plays a game of cards with a troll. He wins the game and enters an altercation before meeting Denise Kira, a reporter who’s investigating the magical realm. She knows of Fable’s actions and of the Rift between realms. after their exchange, Pandora appeared, warning Fable to not interact with Denise or anyone outside the magical realm and his need to stop Emblem, a powerful warlock bent on merging the natural and magical realms. Fable agreed, so-to-speak before returning to his home in the Cheshire Plain. Inside Fable’s shack appeared the Hidden Four, a group of magical monks seeking to make sure Fable stays on his path. They warn Fable of Emblem’s arrival and Fable replies with an answer of he’ll deal with it when Emblem shows himself. Denise is confronted by Pandora in her apartment. Pandora tells Denise to forget about Fable and the magical realm before something happens to her outside of the natural realm’s control. Later in Manchester, Emblem makes himself known, drawing the attention of both Fable and Pandora. The two take the fight to Emblem, seeing he’s become very powerful. Fable defeats Emblem with fireworks and pixie-dusts from neo-witches. Emblem flees the city as Pandora warns of him returning in force. She leaves Fable in the streets to deal with the damage. Denise stood by and saw everything, writing it down to every detail.

Cinderella: Midnight Strikes: The first of Dark Titan’s Cinderella saga. Starting off with Cinderella taking down several armed guards as she looks into who’s bringing in weapons to London unaware. The next day, she meets with her friend, Charlotte Queens, known for always wearing red. They talk about Cindy’s doings at night as she states she’s the only one who can protect London. meanwhile, Hale Prince, a politician is looking into the same insights as Cinderella. Although, with the dealings of Cinderella’s stepsisters and her Stepmother, they seem to make Hale’s work more troublesome by the day. The following night, Cinderella searches for clues involving her Stepmother. Entering the wilderness of Suffolk. Cinderella is ambushed by the Cannibalistic Witch. Cinderella defeats the Witch, sending it away into the night. Stepmother Anne speaks with her two daughters to meet with Hale and find a way to bend his decisions toward her own. Hale is keen to their actions and turns them away. Cinderella eventually meets her Stepmother at the same warehouse as before, exposing her identity as the Sly Detective. Finding herself in an ambush, Anne commands the guards to kill Cinderella. She flees the warehouse and returns home, yet while heading home, she is attacked by an unseen force. Unsure of the force, she makes it home and receives a call from Travis Vail, demanding her assistance as something urgent is taking place.

Heaven Has Called: All Called From Above: The first of the Heaven’s Called saga. Gabriel Abrhama speaks with Travis Vail right after his enccounter with Hastur. Vail tells Abraham of a strong demonic force that’s making its way to the Earth’s surface. While talking, they are visited by a stranger calling himself, Papa Afterlife. Afterlife tells them they must recruit members to form a team if they are to defeat the coming force and the Sin Phantom. Immediately, they head out to recruit. Beginning with contacting Cinderella for her help, John Terror, due to his spiritual aspects, Robert Shaw, known as the Ghost of England, Death Chaser, and Creed. As they all meet, Death Chaser confirms the coming force to be Demonticronto and his recent interactions with the Sin Phantom. While they meet, they are visited by Dark Manhunter and the Visitant Outlander. Two powerful forces in the spiritual realm. Manhunter suggests they kill Demonticronto and end his horrors while Outlander states they should only defeat Demonticronto and return him to his realm, in order to keep the balance. As a last-minute gesture, Vail, Abraham, Terror, and Creed head out to awaken the Mutant-Thing as Cinderella, Chaser, and Shaw battle the Sin Phantom, who’s arrived to stop them. The Phantom imbues Shaw with his sinful nature, causing him to clash with Chaser and Cinderella. The Mutant-Thing awakes and agrees to aid them against Demonticronto. The Chaser finds a way to purge the sin from Shaw. The fight leads to Demonticronto’s arrival as all of them fight together to stop him. Manhunter and Outlander return, sending Demonticronto and the Phantom deep into a pit. The fight is over for now as they agree to reunite whenever something of the same nature takes place. Elsewhere, a set of grimoires are stolen, leading to a more sinister event to come.

Doctor Dark: Holder of Darkness: The first of the Doctor Dark saga. Beginning with Darkous of the Astrals moving around the earth, learning of a series of murders caused by an spiritual force. A reporter in Toronto by the name of Carol Hunters believes the murders are being caused by demons. While investigating, Darkous is met by Michael the Archangel, who leads him into the Second Heaven, telling him the suspect is Mazakala, a magical entity and he’s doing the bidding for the ha-Satan. He also has two demon soldiers in the form of Kabra and Maba. Darkous heads out to find them while Carol meets with a man who knows a lot about what’s happening and what he has in mind to stop it. Darkous meets with his apprentice, Malach HaMavet. He instructs Malach concerning Mazakala, Kabra, and Maba. Giving him a mission to find the two demons while leaving Mazakala to himself. Carol studies several mythologies, finding each of them have a source to the ongoing events. She learns the man she was speaking to is a Mythologist, yet not the one the public is known of. Darkous and Malach confront Kabra and Maba in an abandoned town with them defeating the two demons as Darkous showcased his power before them. Afterwards, Darkous returns to the Astral Dimension, meeting Lilu, who tells him Mazakala was recently in Sheol, to which Darkous went and spoke to the spirits in the darkness. A spirit tells Darkous that Mazakala is making his way toward the physical realm. Darkous returns to the Astral Dimension, meeting Beatrice, a close friend. Beatrice tells Darkous she’s aware of Mazakala’s actions and Darkous’ power is needed in Retropolis. Darkous goes to Retropolis, finding himself in Pegasus Prison, at the cell of Cartavious Cage, who has in his possession a ruby, crystal dust, and a grimoire. Darkous ceases the objects and leaves, only after hearing the sinister laughter of Death herself. Carol walks into a nightclub, hoping to find a source to the mysterious murders. The club went into silence as Malach entered, revealing several of the club-goers to be demons in hiding. They attack Malach, only to their end. Carol leaves with Malach as they are chased by more demons. Back at Carol’s apartment, Malach tells her of everything. From Darkous to the Mythologists. Elsewhere, Darkous searches the world for Mazakala, finding him in the Astral Dimension after he attacked Beatrice. The two take the fight to the earth where they make their landfall in Egypt as Malach and Carol are caught in the cross-hairs of soldiers related to Mazakala in Toronto. Beatrice arrives in Egypt and helps Darkous defeat Mazakala. After, Darkous is called up to the First Heaven, meeting the ha-Satan and warning him of his coming downfall. Darkous returns to Retropolis to find Death free from Pegasus Prison, stating she has plans coming for everyone. Darkous warns her not to try anything or else consequences will be dealt with.

This marks the end of Chapter 7: Tales of the Numinous.

Chapter 8 of the series will be focused on Day of Octagon. Book 4 of the Dark Titan Universe Saga series.
