Symbolum Venatores: Hallow Hunt: Full Details in Gabriel Kane’s Returning Saga

The Monster Hunter and Ufologist of the Remnants is set to make his long-awaited return after five years. Gabriel Kane’s story will continue in Symbolum Venatores: Hallow Hunt. A new story within the world of the Symbolum Venatores, this time set during the events of World War I.

Hallow Hunt is a direct sequel to the 10-part short story collection, The Gabriel Kane Collection, re-released in 2024 simply as SymboluM Venatores. Following an older Gabriel Kane and his allies in the form of Victoria Gretchen, Tom, once a Friar now a Monk, The Night Watchers, and countless others as they collide with Dracula’s forces, who seek to turn the tide in “The War to End All Wars”.

The last Gabriel Kane story, “The Phantom of the Opera”, took place in 1910 when the Monster Hunter sought out the legendary Opera-Ghost. Now, seven years later Gabriel Kane and Dracula clash once again in a story surrounding Hunters, Vampires, Werewolves, and historical figures.

As in terms of media, Hallow Hunt will not be a prose title, instead it will be decided between an animated film or a standalone video game as it is being fast-tracked.

This is another one of many projects in the works from the Symbolum Venatores. Other projects include:

  • Project Oriens: A direct sequel to 2023’s Ancient Egypt story, The Monster Hunter. Set during the time of the Biblical Exodus.

  • Symbolum Venatores: Red Rising: an animated limited-series set to be a continuation of Mr. Hod’s mystery case involving spiritual werewolves, now deeper into the Russian Revolution.

  • The Saga of Einar & Gyda: A transmedia project focused solely on Einar The Hunter and Gyda The Huntress, the married Hunters during the Viking Age.

  • Mystery of the Magician: Set to be an animated parable, it will focus on Riley Hazelwood, one member of The Night Watchers set after the events of the short story, “Werewolves and Vampires”, as she searches for a lost friend in Belle Epoque Paris.

  • Project Aztlan: A peculiar project following a new Monster Hunter, set during the early period of the Aztec Empire.

  • Project Musica: A intriguing project set during the Jazz Age, taking place in 1930s New Orleans, currently targeted to be a TV-focused project.

  • Project Maleficia: A darker project set during the horrors of the Salem Witch Trials.

  • Project Umbra: A detective-horror tale with a touch of noir, set during the Great Depression in 1930s New York City.

These are the known projects in the works. For such is within the world of the Symbolum Venatores as History has its Mysteries.
