Welcome to Chapter 5 of “A Look Through The Dark Titan Universe Saga”. A series of separate articles based on the Dark Titan Universe Saga.

Giving new readers who don’t mind SPOILERS and those whom have already read something pertaining to the series a look at what’s happened from the start and what’s to come with The Heroes’ Path Trilogy, which begins this Spring. This series will be going by chronology including the main titles, spin-offs, and One-Shot stories. Continuing the series with Tales of the Scattered: Book 2 of the Dark Titan Universe Saga series.

Tales of the Scattered is the continuation of the saga featuring several characters such as The Voltage, Bionic Rage, John Terror, Q-Arrow, Doctor Fortune, Kular the Aqua-Barbarian, The Champions of Destiny, The Yonderers, The Enforcement Order, and Flashburn. Book 2 follows them on their own journeys set after the events of Dark Titan Knights and during and after The Resistance Protocol.

The details of the ten stories featured in Book 2 are below:

The Astonishing Voltage: New L.A.: The first story of The Astonishing Voltage arc. Begins with a man named Marcus Leonidas who arrives in Los Angeles, looking to study the sudden appearance of the rising heroes. Knowing he’s in the city of The Voltage, Leonidas desires to rid the city of the hero and replace him with a hero of his own. A savior. Elsewhere, Steve Walker meets with his friends and grandmother as the city is ambushed by Marcus and his army of warriors, dressed in Spartan armor. Leonidas appeared before the city, calling himself King Marc, the reincarnation of Leonidas of Sparta, stating he wishes to transform Los Angeles into New Sparta, and the only way to achieve this is to eliminate The Voltage. After a quick battle between the two in downtown L.A., Leonidas takes the fight to the Staples Center with the interior resembling the battlefields of old. The Voltage arrived, facing Leonidas in front of his growing followers. The Voltage defeats Leonidas. In prison, Leonidas is greeted by three men who have a plan to escape and get revenge on Voltage. The next day, Steve is visited by an old friend, Ava.

Bionic Rage: United Nations: The first story of the Bionic Rage arc. Set during the events of The Resistance Protocol, Beginning with Dameon Mason, still understanding his bio-nanotech limbs. After saving someone, Mason is met by Spencer Vargas, a man who deems Mason’s bionic limbs a possibility for change. Vargas offers Mason a job to work for him as a guard. Mason declines, unaware of Vargas’ intentions to retrieve the biotech. Afterwards, Mason returned home to be greeted by Kenari Clark, who’s come to offer him a chance at aligning with the forming team to face a dire threat. Mason declines when he learns of Nathan Hawke’s involvement. Elsewhere, Vargas hires the assassin, Chiang Tojo to track down Mason, leading to a shootout in the library alongside Brad Carpenter, Mason’s closest friend after their meeting with Nathan Armstrong, a lawyer who seeks to help Mason with another friend, Claire Lyons. Later, Claire, Brad, and Nathan are kidnapped by Vargas in an attempt to bring Mason out. Dameon went to the warehouse where they were kept, slaughtering all of Vargas’ men before facing off against Tojo in a brutal fight. Mason killed Tojo with a missile blast to the head. Dameon and his friends left the warehouse as Nathan contacted the police, whom arrested Vargas and questioned the bodies on the ground. Now, all of Detroit knows of Mason’s existence due to Vargas as a mercenary named Chris Stanton entered the city, searching for Mason. Dameon himself returned home and received news of an ongoing battle in Retropolis. He stood up and left his home, heading to the battle in the north.

Terror: Behold, Agency X: The first story of the John Terror arc. Terror makes his return to Chicago after aiding The Swordman in Retropolis against Sir Onyx. Upon Terror’s return, he enters an abandoned laboratory elated to his search for The Party People. Finding a list of names pertaining to other nubreeds, he’s ambushed by Agent 51. Terror chased him through the streets of the city before the police arrived, arresting him and letting the Agent free. Later, Terror is bailed out by his friend, Carl Prater who returns him to their hideout in the outskirts of Chicago. Once there, they are greeted by Jordon Dodson, a woman who’s looking to learn more about nubreeds and their place in the world of heroes. Terror and Carl returned to the laboratory with Jordan following them before they were ambushed by Vazquez, who knocked out Terror and took him from the lab. Terror awoke in the presence of Mite, who states he wants to siphon out the deeper power which lives within Terror to open a breach into the spirit world. Carl and Jordan arrived at the facility to free Terror, yet, Vazquez had done it himself through anger, slashing the chains from Terror’s arms. Terror and Vazquez fought as Mite and Agent 51 escaped. Terror defeated Vazquez in a rough bout. The following day while investigating a possible Agency X location, Terror is visited by Kenari Clark.

Q-Arrow: Quantum Plans: The first story of the Q-Arrow arc. Begins with Karen Harp researching the sightings of Q-Arrow, leading her to Asher Dale. Meanwhile, Sam Weyman, new to Las Vegas entered the Quantum headquarters, revealing a proto-absorber, frightening the visitors. Q-Arrow arrived, finding himself confronted by the Dominate Trio of Stampede, Smasher, and Demolition. Q-Arrow defeated them with the help of Jeff Nero, a young man calling himself Shadow Hardy. Elsewhere, Weyman injected quantum minerals into his bloodstream, transforming him into a plant/human hybrid. Now known as Woodstalker. Q-Arrow and Shadow Hardy teamed up to face Woodstalker and the Trio, defeating him before his plans could continue further. The next day, Asher is greeted by Kenari Clark concerning the formation of a team.

Doctor Fortune: Judged Fortunes: The first story of the Doctor Fortune arc. Doctor Donald Fortune leaves his spot in Nepal, returning to the Citadel of Enchantment, meeting a young man named Thomas Bradley who seeks to learn about the mystic arts. The Citadel is later attacked by a horde of demons called the Moronic Ones and cybernetic beings referred to as Judgedroids, bringing out Huang, Fortune’s brother-in-arms. After the attack, Fortune learns it was the work of Sinister Judge, a powerful foe who dwells in his own kingdom of Centro. Fortune, Huang, and Bradley travel to Centro, confronting Judge and entering a conflict of magic and sorcery. They cease their battle after the appearance of the Mystic Father. Fortune, Huang, and Bradley return to the Citadel for restructure while Judge scouts locations in Canada for his next mission.

Kular The Aqua-Barbarian: Saga of the Aqua-Barbarian: The first story of the Aqua-Barbarian arc. After the Atlantean battle, Kular decided to see what the surface-world had possessed. traveling across the lands and encountering others such as Commander Norland, The Swordman, Specter Errant, Nubreeds, and Unkinds before returning to Atlantis to stop the invasion of Lord Shark. Afterwards, Kular tells Novah what he saw upon the surface.

Destiny of the Champions: Throughout the Eons: The first story of the Champions of Destiny arc. Following Doctor Amadeus Omega’s sudden escape in Dark Titan Knights, Omega arrives in present-day, searching for recruits to form a team with his time-ship, the Spellvector. Meeting with Corbin Beval/Jetlash, Antonio Carlos/Crimson Mask, and Sandra Banks/Ms. Titan. Together, they travel to Silver City in the year 1875, meeting Clint Winston, known simply as The Lone Outlaw before returning to present-day, in search of a Cosmicbox. Discovering the box was in the hands of Tessa Balthazar, a treasure huntress. They fight her for the box just as Baron Eon arrives. Ceasing the fight, giving Tessa the chance to escape. Afterwards, Omega’s team searched for Eon through time and space, yet he was nowhere to be found.

Yonderers: Alienation: The first story of the Yonderers arc. Professor Cullen Edge trains his team of nubreed recruit, just as General Rilla begins assembling his Fellowship of Nubreeds. Rilla and Edge speak to one another alone concerning their teams and their ideologies in dealing with humanity before fighting amongst themselves in Chicago. Elsewhere, the military meets with Ezekiel McKnight of Glasco, Inc. as he unveils his project to stop the rise of nubreeds and heroes called Project Steeler.

Enforcement Order 66: Assembling the Enforcement: The first story of the Enforcement Order: Team 1 arc. Beginning with Death’s placement in Pegasus Prison from Dark Titan Knights as Lieutenant Gage Hark and A.B. discuss the formation of the Enforcement Order. Hark heads out, searching for recruits. He finds them in the form of Blake Smalls/Gunbaine, Maria Swan, Lance Gasper, Black Mare, Randy Keith/Thunderstorm, and Daniel Barns/G-Zero. They arrive at Base 33 and are introduced to A.B., who informs them of a secret mission and they must partake, regardless of the consequences.

The Ire of Flashburn: I am Flashburn: The first story of the Flashburn arc. Floyd Rizzo, a mechanic discovers a strange bright light in a nearby cave. The light is in fact an elemental entity called the Incandescence. The entity imbues Floyd with its own power. Passing out from the interaction, Floyd wakes up and returns home, fining his body burning from within and fire emerging from his hands. He meets with Professor Dan Simon, who studies the myths of the Elementals. Floyd later transforms into a being of fire as their town is attacked by a being only called the Atomic Bomb. Floyd turns his transformation into good use and defeats the Bomb. His town proclaims him a hero as he takes up the name Flashburn. Elsewhere, another young man is greeted by an elemental entity, only this one is made of complete darkness, giving him a portion of his power, the young man transforms into a shadow darker than the night sky.

This marks the end of Chapter 5: Tales of the Scattered

Chapter 6 of the series will be focused on three of the Dark Titan One-Shot stories, Mystery of the Mutant-Thing, Shade & Switchblade, and Retribution of Cain.
