The Ballad of Blood & War Revealed!: How A Character Brand Became A Universe Brand

With the Dark Titan Entertainment IP Presentation taking place today, Dark Titan Entertainment has officially announced and revealed a new IP into the portfolio of The Universe of Realms. Introducing The Ballad of Blood & War.

This new IP is targeted into the sphere of science-fiction and epic fantasy as it surrounds the planet of Skartor, home to the Skartorian race and its principle protagonist Hauk, the Skartorian God of War. However, this reveal and change of the brand was not the original plans.

The original plans for Hauk and Skartor was for the character and the world to make their debut in Dynasty Wars, set to release on December 6th from Dark Titan Publishing. Originally in earlier drafts, Hauk and Skartor would make their presence known during a pivotal portion of the story, debuting him and his world as part of the Dark Titan Universe IP. With a new draft written, the decision was made to remove Hauk, Skartor, and all the references. Instead the decision was made to have Skartor become its own IP, already set with a vast roster of characters ranging from gods, goddesses, monsters, aliens, and suchlike.

Now. Today, The Ballad of Blood & War is official and its the IP where the stories of Hauk, Skar, Darkraven, The Carnage Trio, and others throughout the planet of Skartor and others will be placed. The first project from this brand will be titled Prince of Skartor.

Prince of Skartor will detail the journey of Hauk and his allies as they fight to preserve their planet and their power over their adversaries, preferably the Roc species of the planet Rukh. No release date is set for Prince of Skartor.

Aside from Prince of Skartor, there are others projects under the banner of The Ballad of Blood & War.

For now, silence befalls as the Skartorians prepare for war.
