Symbolum Venatores: Mystery of the Magician: The Change of Media

Dark Titan Entertainment had revealed the upcoming title in the Symbolum Venatores series titled, “Mystery of the Magician” last year. Originally set to be a companion novel to Symbolum Venatores: The Gabriel Kane Collection.

Symbolum Venatores: Mystery of the Magician is the story of Riley Hazelwood. One-third of The Night Watchers, a small band of monster hunters within the sect of the Symbolum Venatores.

Now the Belle Epoque mystery will no longer be released as a companion novel or in the prose format. Instead, Mystery of the Magician is being redesigned to become either an animated limited series or an animated film to expand the Symbolum Venatores brand into other forms of media.

The synopsis to Symbolum Venatores: Mystery of the Magician is below:

“Set during the Belle Epoque era of Paris in 1908, this story will follow The Night Watchers arriving in the city to visit one of Riley’s close friends. However, things begin to alter when her friend is the target of a mysterious force only known as The Magician. Coming to the realization of her friend’s impending danger and her increased training under her mentors Richard Rogers, Victoria Gretchen, and Gabriel Kane, Riley must uncover the mystery surrounding her friend and the truth behind the unknown Magician.”

Mystery of the Magician is set after the events of The Invisible Man and before The Phantom of the Opera short stories from The Gabriel Kane Collection.

Meanwhile, the current book-series continues with the upcoming Viking Age monster hunter story, Symbolum Venatores: Twilight of the Gods. Arriving at the latter end of Q1 2022.

If you have interest in the series, check out the previous three titles (The Gabriel Kane Collection, Hod, War of The Two Kingdoms) as well as the first Symbolum Venatores Collection.
