Welcome to a new series titled, “A Look Through The Dark Titan Universe Saga”. This series will feature separate articles based on the Dark Titan Universe Saga. Giving new readers who don’t mind spoilers and those whom have already read something pertaining to the series a look at what’s happened from the start and what’s to come with The Heroes’ Path Trilogy, which begins this Spring. This series will be going by chronology including the main titles, spin-offs, and One-Shot stories. Starting off this series is In a Glass of Dawn: The Casebook of Travis Vail.

In a Glass of Dawn: The Casebook of Travis Vail chronologically takes place before and during the main series. The first nine stories are set before the events of Dark Titan Knights with the tenth story being in both Glass of Dawn and Dark Titan Knights. Now, beginning with the first nine stories.

The Tale of The Haunting was the first chronological story featuring Travis Vail on a paranormal investigation to an old mansion where an ancient Indian burial ground was discovered. Vail went ahead and investigated the land, only to come up against an unseen figure. Vail was not harmed in the investigation, but learned that the land was indeed haunted.

Prayers For The Dead followed Vail and his mentor Dr. Galen Donovan on an investigation to an abandoned church, finding symbols of pentagrams made in blood on the floors and feeling intense heat from beneath the ground, Vail came into contact with his arch-nemesis, Vernon Lance. Lance is a man who’s well-delved in the arts of witchcraft and a formidable foe for Vail even to this day.

A Lost Girl followed Vail heading to a suburban neighborhood in helping a family figure out what was happening with their daughter. Upon Vail’s arrival and knowledge, he discovered the young girl was being controlled by a spirit only known as Leta, the Lost Girl spirit. Vail returned to the family home and exorcised the spirit from the young girl and the land. Leta was gone and the family was cleared. Although, Vail knew it wouldn’t be the last time he came into conflict with Leta.

Locked for Eternity detailed Vail’s investigation into a prison which had been abandoned and left for years. Following Vail on this investigation was Colton Levi, a young apprentice to Vail in the paranormal field, While investigating, they both realize the spirits which were once prisoners are still trapped within the walls and seeking a way out.

Case of The White Lady followed Vail to Scotland where he embarked on the urban legend of the White Lady. Vail went on this trip alone and search out Huntly Castle for the spirit. Not finding her, but only the spirit of a young boy. Vail went to the prison of the same name in switched and found the White Lady. Sending her away into the spiritual realm where she may find rest.

Salem Witch Trials followed Vail and Dr. Donovan to Massachusetts where they investigated the Salem Witch House to investigate the apparent sightings of deceased witches and those affiliated with the Salem Witch Trials. While investigating, they came across several spirits and one spoke out her name. Giving them conformation that the spirits are here and will not leave.

The Fog from Within focused on Vail’s mystery into an supernatural fog where spirits dwell within. Vail traveled across many parts of the United States to find the Fog from Boulder, Colorado to Topeka, Kansas, and Tulsa, Oklahoma. Vail came into contact with the Fog in full while in Tulsa and saw the spirits which lived within the mist whom resembled soldiers from the American Civil War. Vail returned to Topeka and Boulder, telling the people of the Fog’s existence. Confirming their sightings.

The Revenancy Voyage followed Vail and Colton Levi to Charleston, South Carolina where they investigated a proposed ghost ship called The Revenancy. Later during the investigation, Colton came into contact with the apparition of the ship’s deceased Captain along with several other events. Vail was told of the sighting and confirmed the ship is indeed haunted.

The Forest of The Vanishing followed Vail investigating a strange forest just outside of Seattle, Washington where he found shrines from Celtic origin and missing children. Vail entered the forest and found himself surrounded by strange druids, whom conformed the missing children and people of the city. They had become members of the druid cult. Vail tried to set them free, but the hold on them was too great, there Vail had sent them away, breaking their hold on this world from the next. Vail told the people of the city concerning the forest and what he saw.

The Abandoned Hotel is the tenth story of the book and chronology takes place during the events of Dark Titan Knights. The story follows Vail investigating the Black Raven Hotel, a place which has been closed due to demonic hauntings. The hotel itself has thirteen floors and Vail investigated all of them alone. Vail came into contact with many spirits on each floor before making it to the thirteen, where he was confronted by Kamagrauto. A powerful demon who proclaimed itself to be a lieutenant demon and servant to Dagor The Soul Eater. Vail spoke with Kamagrauto, for the demon was highly intelligent and knew of Vail’s past experiences and all the investigations he’s completed. Kamagrauto told Vail concerning his future of a world working alongside others like himself against greater forces than mere ghosts and demons. Vail did not believe the demon’s words of others like himself existing except for Donovan, Colton, and the minor others. Yet, Vail’s world would grow in Tales of the Numinous, confirming Kamagrauto’s words.

This marks the end of Part 1: In a Glass of Dawn.

Part 2 of this series will be focused on Dark Titan Knights, the introduction to the Dark Titan Universe.
