Adam Watson  joined the Canadian military at 21 years of age and helped in the Republic War. During one battle, Adam was nearly killed, until he encountered a legendary god-like being, which gave him supernatural abilities he could use in battle instead of the weapons of man. With these new abilities, he protects his country and the rest of the world as Commander Norland.

Powers: Superhuman Strength, Endurance, Durability, Reflexes. Power to control ice and has the abilities to create ice bolts. Due to his superhuman strength, his body feels like a hardened substance, though he can only be hurt physically by a powerful force. He can also withstand temperatures that will result in frostbite. He is a skilled fighter and an excellent field commander. He randomly uses guns in battle.
